Clarus Group briefs R.I. Senate Committee on construction management at risk (CMR) delivery method

At the request of the R.I. Senate Committee on Government Oversight, Dan Ahern and Pamela Bloomfield gave a joint presentation and answered questions at a June 16, 2008 Committee hearing regarding the CMR delivery method. Their topics included a comparison of CMR with the traditional design-bid-build delivery method, a comparison of the role of a CMR firm with that of a CM for fee, and areas of risk in a CMR project.
